Developed by the Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE), it ensures that these systems meet strict performance and safety criteria. The certification tests systems under various fire scenarios, including large and obstructed fires, and evaluates the system’s ability to extinguish and prevent re-ignition. It is similar to SPCR 199, but specifically targets buses and coaches rather than heavy-duty vehicles
